I was one of EastEnders hunkiest stars but I’ve quit acting to be a life coach

A FORMER EastEnders star has quit acting and fame to become a life coach in a career change.
Joel Beckett played the role of Jake Moon, arriving in Walford with his brother Danny in 2004.
The soap hunk was related to beloved character Alfie Moon, with bosses revealing him as his second cousin.
During his two-year stint in EastEnders Joel’s character was involved in a number of high-profile storylines.
In 2006 viewers watched as Jake made the decision to leave Albert Square for good.
However, as he left The Vic, he was confronted by a stranger who asked if he was Jake Moon.


Jake hasn’t been seen since and is presumed dead by fans – but Joel is very much alive.
The 49-year-old has quit acting and taken up a career in life coaching.
He’s a performance and emotional coach, offering his clients the ability to “become the best version of you”.
Away from work, he’s also a dad to his young daughter and husband to h is gorgeous wife.
Joel previously confessed to eyeing up a part in rival soap Coronation Street.
He said: “I’d love to go up to Corrie for a stint, because I really miss being in a soap. It’s like having a proper job.
“I never miss an episode of Corrie. My favourite characters are Mary and David, who are just brilliant.
“I’ve actually worked with a couple of the current cast before – Kate Ford on a drama called Missing with Pauline Quirke, and an episode of Heartbeat where I had to assault Paula Lane.”
